Emily is a writer and director working in film and theatre. After studying English and Drama at Cambridge University, she joined the Old Vic, New Voices scheme. Since then she has had critically-acclaimed plays produced across the UK. She has worked extensively in film as a screenwriter and producer on various features, short films, and web series.

Emily is also a published poet. Her writing has been featured in a number of UK-based publications and she regularly performs at poetry nights around the country.

Alongside her work in theatre, Emily works as an arts facilitator with several schools and charities across London. She specialises in drama, running theatre and poetry workshops with a focus on well-being for adults and young people.
